For almost eight years now, 22ROCKETS has been a vital part of the techno and house scene in Berlin / Germany, the city here he was born and grew up also. In a range of different capacities, among others, 22ROCKETS works as a DJ, producer, promoter, club operator, event-manager and entertainer on different projects – solo or with other artists and friends.
Influenced by his early rave experiences in Berlin there was no other way for him than to dedicate his life to spinning records and becoming a DJ himself. From the year 2000 onwards he fanatically started buying records - which almost ruined his life. The urge to present music to other people has not slowed down ever since. Even now, his friends are forced to listen to his new acquisitions and his latest DJ-Sets whenever they pay him a visit.
He also co-founded the underground crew 4AUGENVOEGELN together with his circle of friends. They organize crazy parties in clubs or in locations, which have never been used before such as open-air raves in different public parks of Berlin. DJ gigs in various locations followed. Clubs like Weekend, Bar25, Watergate, Arena-Club, Ritter Butzke, Salon zur wilden Renate, Club der Visionäre, Music Hall, Ballhaus Ost - not to mention semi-official parties at hidden places. He appeared on parties next to Miss Kittin, Tom Clark, Ian Pooley, Audio Werner, MIA, D.O.P. and Noze - just to name a few.
22ROCKETS loves a wide range of music. In the early days he played electro-disco sound and later moved to deep-trance techno. Today he likes to play warm sunny house-music.
