The most important part of sound tamasha - from the start in 2008 till now - has always been our concept of 'Sound Tamasha Resident Artists'. The idea behind this concept is to invite artists to come for duration of usually 2 to 6 months, in order to create something bigger and longer lasting than a booking for one or two gigs ever could. The 'Sound Tamasha Resident Artists' are loosely based in Delhi but also travel the rest of India - for gigs, meeting fellow artists and friends, or for plain relaxation on Goa's beaches and the mighty Himalayas. The level of cultural immersion when staying a longer time is multiplied, and the contacts and collaborations with local artists blossom. Ultimately, our concept contributes to a music scene without borders...

The Sound Tamasha family members come from diverse cultural and stylistic backgrounds. They usually are musicians, mostly DJs or producers, but also VJs, photographers and graphic designers, without whom Sound Tamasha could never exist. We feed from collaborations and cultural exchange, and we rarely ever turn down somebody who is interested in working with us. After all, mutual exchange and - most importantly - respect for each other is the base for all creativity. We are waiting for you to become a member of the Sound Tamasha Family...
